5 ways to live a happy life

Hi there darlings, have you been stressed out lately? Well, I’m almost always stressed out. Which is, I have to admit, a bad habit. I decided that from now on, starting today, I will vow to follow the five following rules to live a happy life. It won’t be easy, dealing with everyday problems. But I’ll do it to get the best out of every day. Are you in?

1. Laugh more
Find reasons to laugh and surround yourself with people who make you. Taking life not that seriously can even add some years to your lifespan.

2. Sleep enough
I’m not a fan of zombie like people walking around like they haven’t slept for ages. I’m one of them though. Not done! So rule number two on my list is getting enough sleep. The daily recommendation is seven or eight hours a day.

3. Move more
Exercise is important, there will be no one not agreeing with me on this one. But did you know moving more on a daily basis can make you feel a whole lot better. For example taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

4. Keep your family close
Family bonding plays a huge role in your happiness. Staying close to your family –yes even with all the drama going on- makes you feel more relaxed and happy.

5. Help others
Yes, voluntarily helping other makes you feel good about yourself. Giving back to the community makes you feel having a purpose and you actually are building on good karma.

So these are the five rules I vow to pay more attention on. And writing this article I feel I can actually do this! What do you think?
