Hi sweethearts, are you ready for our next holiday destination? Today I’m taking you to Marbella, a glamorous beach resort destination in Andalusia, Spain. On the Mediterranean between Málaga and Gibraltar at the foot of the Sierra Blanca, Marbella is one of the most important resorts of the Costa del Sol. With temperatures around the 19° C throughout almost the whole year there are many hotels and tourist apartments built in this city, I’ll enlighten you in a sec about the best place to stay!

If you’re into watersports, golf or other sports Marbella is ideal for you. But if you’re into culture and architecture there’re also a lot of sightseeing options. Like the La Iglesia de La Encarnación, the City Hall, the Arab wall, The Almeda Park known for its ceramic benches and the Bonsai Museum. Famous people like Antonio Banderas and Georgy Clooney lived here, so you can imagine the allure. If you’re more into sunbathing there is the Nikki beach, one of the most exclusive Costa del Sol beach clubs. Home to the wealthy and people who want to be it! Nikki beach is a concept- a lifestyle, but a very expensive one. The beach itself is beautiful and lies next to crystal clear water. Living for clubbing? Than Ocean Club Marbella is the place to be for you. Ocean Club Marbella at Puerto Banus is 9000 square meters of style, luxury and glamorous indulgence- the very epitome of what today’s beach club should be. Let’s get the party started!

On the east side of Marbella you’ll find a lot of rock landscapes. My favorite location, a specific place I must mention is the Lomas de Los Monteros. Staying here feels like you’re literally living on the edge. It’s so gorgeous and the views are beautiful. Take a look at the pictures below and you’ll know what I’m talking about. This new stunning café and restaurant close to my home, on the corner of the Eerste van der Helststraat en de Quellijnstraat opened its doors recently and I couldn’t help but take a look around.

My eyes and taste buds are pleased I must say. Venster 33 in the Pijp is owned by GTST actor Cas Jansen and a good job he did. Since the opening the place is crowded with youngsters soaking up the atmosphere. I visited Venster 33 with some loved ones and we had a really nice time there.

A very diverse menu with something for everyone. From hamburger, salads, steak, frites to mashed potatoes. The dishes are a little smaller than the regular size, which provokes you to try everything out. Smart move there mr. Jansen! To rinse your throat there’s a wide range of choices on the gin & tonic menu. In addition the wine and beer lovers also have a lot of choice.

The prices are reasonable, but the staff is a little chaotic. Venster 33 is a stunning café and restaurant that definitely deserves the hotspot title. Definitely a must visit again for me!

The Vondelpark is one of those parks every tourist and citizen of the Netherlands should have visit at least once. Since I life across the park you can find me there almost every day and I know there hadn’t been something new for a long time. But that phase has passed and now there is Vondelpark3: The new hotspot of 2015.

With pastel tones, light woodwork and padded chairs, Vondelpark3 creates a tough but fresh and cozy look. I found out that I wasn’t the only one waiting for this new café restaurant. It’s very crowded and noisy, in a good way of course.

The menu is very diverse and everyone can find something they like. They have the classic Caesar salad or a rack of lamb. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful and only for that you should visit Vondelpark3.

TIP: For the spotters of Famous Dutch people called Bn’ers this is an excellent spot.

There is one small downside and that’s the space. All the tables stand very close together and you get the feeling of dining with a lot more people than you’re sitting with. Well, there may be human beings out there who actually like that.

All in all a fresh looking hotspot I definitely will be a lot coming season!

Hi there lovely angels, as you know I kind of like the Scandinavian clothing brands a lot. You can imagine I was thrilled to find this new shop I’m totally in love with. The name? Rum, well I don’t know about other shoppers but I definitely get drunk on shopping here. You can find this little treasure at the Huidenstraat, Amsterdam part of the Negen Straatjes.

Rum sells those kind of basics everyone should have in their wardrobe, there’s a reason they’re called essentials. If you walk in the shop you’ll be immediately tempted to buy everything. From leather leggings to a good white shirt. Rum offers you every essential clothing item you can need when a clothing emergency occurs.
You’ll find brands like Hunkydory, Dante6, Minus, Day Birger et Mikkelsen and Mos Mosh. Doesn’t sound familiar does it? But once you see it for yourself you’ll understand what I’m talking about here. And who knows you might be the next Scandinavian clothing brand lover?

Hi there sweethearts, are you already daydreaming about your next holiday destination? Well, I definitely am. To cheer this month up let’s get that holiday feeling flowing. This month’s favorite is Dubai, the luxury walhalla. I looked around and found these five must visit hotspots.

1. The Dubai Mall
If we’re talking about Dubai, we’re talking about malls. A lot of malls. Let’s be honest, Dubai is called the fashion Walhalla for a reason. The Dubai Mall is the queen of malls and probably the most famous one in the world. With more than 1200 shops and 200 restaurants, you’ll be busy for a while. But beside the shops and restaurants, you also can go indoor skiing or even visit the Underwater Zoo. How amazing is that?

2. Souk Madinat
A souk actually is a kind open air market, with an Arabic feel to it. Souk Madinat offers you the most beautiful handmade items. Typical about the souks is that you can find eateries everywhere!

3. Burj Khalifa
Who doesn’t know the Burj Khalifa? World’s largest buidling. From the 124th floor you can see the beautiful skyline of Dubai. And, of course don’t forget to visit the huge fountain!

4. The Palm Jumeirah
The first Palm Island off the coast of Dubai. This Island was used to be seen as the eight worldwonder. So you can guess, a must visit. The island is five by five kilometers and is easy accessible.

5. Dubai Miracle Garden
And meet our next worldwonder: the Dubai Miracle Garden. The world’s largest flower garden. The things you can see here are really spectacular. Flowers blooming in star, heart and many more shapes. Can you already imagine walking in this romatic setting wiht your lover?
