Hi sweethearts, are you ready for our next holiday destination? Today I’m taking you to Marbella, a glamorous beach resort destination in Andalusia, Spain. On the Mediterranean between Málaga and Gibraltar at the foot of the Sierra Blanca, Marbella is one of the most important resorts of the Costa del Sol. With temperatures around the 19° C throughout almost the whole year there are many hotels and tourist apartments built in this city, I’ll enlighten you in a sec about the best place to stay!

If you’re into watersports, golf or other sports Marbella is ideal for you. But if you’re into culture and architecture there’re also a lot of sightseeing options. Hi sweethearts, welcome back! Today I was thinking about my recent visits to the SKYY Bar in the Fashion Hotel, Amsterdam. And I was wondering how these kind of bars in other countries would be? So, I came up with a bucket list of the most beautiful rooftops bars in the world I must visit at least once in my life! To save you time on thinking I’m sharing my list with you and who knows, you may get inspired.

1. Mumbai’s Four Seasons Hotel
Mumbai’s glamour is located on the 34th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel. The open- air bar and lounge opens its gates every night, starting off with the Sunset Happy Hour at 17:30.

2. Bali’s Rock Bar
You can find this bar in the Ayana Resort and Spa in Bali. This rooftop is located about 14 meters above the Indian Ocean on a natural rock formation. How amazing is that!

3. London’s Radio
A little closer to my house is Radio, located in London’s ME London Hotel.

4. Tokyo’s New York Bar
On the 52th floor of the Tokyo Park Hyatt’s skyscraper you can find this jewel: the New York Bar. Imagine the view!

5. Bangkok’s Sky Bar at Sirocco
The 63th floor of the Lebua Hotel in Bangkok accommodates worlds highest rooftop bar. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to say: ‘I’ve been to worlds highest rooftop bar! Where have you been?’

I think I should make a part two of this post. There are so many amazing rooftop bars out there and I want to visit them all. I not only love the amazing views, but also love to taste and see all the different kind of cocktails. It’s an art itself. Inspired yet?

Hi there sweethearts, are you already daydreaming about your next holiday destination? Well, I definitely am. To cheer this month up let’s get that holiday feeling flowing. This month’s favorite is Dubai, the luxury walhalla. I looked around and found these five must visit hotspots.

1. The Dubai Mall
If we’re talking about Dubai, we’re talking about malls. A lot of malls. Let’s be honest, Dubai is called the fashion Walhalla for a reason. The Dubai Mall is the queen of malls and probably the most famous one in the world. With more than 1200 shops and 200 restaurants, you’ll be busy for a while. But beside the shops and restaurants, you also can go indoor skiing or even visit the Underwater Zoo. How amazing is that?

2. Souk Madinat
A souk actually is a kind open air market, with an Arabic feel to it. Souk Madinat offers you the most beautiful handmade items. Typical about the souks is that you can find eateries everywhere!

3. Burj Khalifa
Who doesn’t know the Burj Khalifa? World’s largest buidling. From the 124th floor you can see the beautiful skyline of Dubai. And, of course don’t forget to visit the huge fountain!

4. The Palm Jumeirah
The first Palm Island off the coast of Dubai. This Island was used to be seen as the eight worldwonder. So you can guess, a must visit. The island is five by five kilometers and is easy accessible.

5. Dubai Miracle Garden
And meet our next worldwonder: the Dubai Miracle Garden. The world’s largest flower garden. The things you can see here are really spectacular. Flowers blooming in star, heart and many more shapes. Can you already imagine walking in this romatic setting wiht your lover?

If continents were in a beauty pageant, Europe would win miss World. With it’s perfect combination of historic villages, modern cities, stunning nature and sandy beaches, Europe is the one continent you can see and find everything you need.

Now I can imagine planning a trip to Europe can be overwhelming. That’s why I made my personal top 4 places you must visit to help you out here.

1. Amsterdam

Of course, the city I live in. Amsterdam, where should I start? The city where everything is just a little better. The mysterious Red Light district, the intriguing canals and the historic museums will entirely intoxicate you.

 2. Rome

And then Rome, the recognized attraction of the well know Trevi fountain and the legendary Colosseum. All of Rome breaths cathedrals and art. Not to mention the delicious pizza’s, pasta’s and coffee. Rome is the mesmerizing city you’ll never forget.

 3. Paris

Oh dear, Paris. What can I say about Paris? The beautiful city of love and probably the most desired one on the whole list. Everyone knows Paris for it’s Louis Vuitton, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and of course the wonderful Chanel. Without forgetting all the amazing sightseeing like the famous Louvre and the legendary Eiffel Tower.

4. London

Everyone loves London! Is it the London Eye? The new Heathrow terminal? Or just the London vibe? No matter what, if you’re coming to Europe, London is a stop you have to make. Feel the allure and majesty from the Abbey Road to the Beckingham Palace. Get yourself carried away in luxury.

There are a million places you can visit in Europe, and there are a million posts I can write about it. But for now I’ll leave it at my four most favorite cities. I hope it will help you planning your tour.

Hi angels, it’s Monday again and I for one am already looking forward to the coming weekend. Mondays are usually a bit slow with me, but by the time the clock strikes eleven, I’m all warmed up and ready to go. I’ve been surfing the web for inspiration on my next holiday destination.

That’s why I decided to spent some time dreaming away of all the beautiful places I’ll visit in the future. And suddenly it hit me: why not let this research and dreaming become an inspiration, not only for me but for you as well. And so, my first weekend getaway inspiration is…drumrolls…Málaga!

Sigh, what a beautiful place. So different than the modern Costa del Sol. The atmosphere and sensation of a Mediterranean port. The historic center of the city just breaths charm with its unfinished Gothic cathedral, traditional balconied buildings, narrow city chic streets, breathtaking gardens and some of the most amazing tapas bars. And if that isn’t enough you can find beautiful museums – like Picasso’s -, you’ll see a beautiful skyline and like a real princess you can visit the 11th century Gilbralfaro castle.

Where to stay: Well angels, I don’t know about you, but if I need a place to stay it has to be a place that lives up to my standards. In Málaga there are two places that caught my eye. Room Mate Larios. This hotel is housed in a 19th century building, located on the central Plaza de la Constitución. I know, sparkling eyes all over this place. And Parador De Málaga Gibralfaro. Beside the castle this hotel has an unbeatable position and has that excellent high end look and feel.

So hopefully I’ll be packing my bag anytime soon. And otherwise, you’ll find my next dream destination next week!
