Try this 5 minute yoga exercise in the morning

Hi my lovely darlings, you know what I noticed lately? My time management is getting really good. Yes, I admit, there was a time it was terrible. But now it’s going all well. I even save myself some time in the morning to do a 5 minute yoga exercise to revitalize. It’s really amazing how you can feel so energetic and relaxed. You totally have to try it! Read along and find out how.

So this five minute yoga exercise I’m talking about is actually a very popular yoga sequence called Surya Namaskara. The yoga fans among us will definitely recognize this term. Surya Namaskara is a five minute morning exercise which will make you feel calm, more energetic and a very important one: you’ll have less aches and pains. Basically the Surya Namaskara benefits your vital organs, muscles and your mind.

Surya Namaskara is done to honor the sun and share your gratitude for its energy by doing a series of postures, each with its own meaning. You can see the postures on the picture below.

A few personal tips:
– It’s very important to take long, deep breaths
– Each of the 12 postures (or 24 postures if you switch legs by postures four and nine) should by executed with full dedication.

Try this 5 minute yoga exercise in the morning and you’ll that your day starts with a whole other mind setting.

Hi there darlings, have you been stressed out lately? Well, I’m almost always stressed out. Which is, I have to admit, a bad habit. I decided that from now on, starting today, I will vow to follow the five following rules to live a happy life. It won’t be easy, dealing with everyday problems. But I’ll do it to get the best out of every day. Are you in?

1. Laugh more
Find reasons to laugh and surround yourself with people who make you. Taking life not that seriously can even add some years to your lifespan.

2. Sleep enough
I’m not a fan of zombie like people walking around like they haven’t slept for ages. I’m one of them though. Not done! So rule number two on my list is getting enough sleep. The daily recommendation is seven or eight hours a day.

3. Move more
Exercise is important, there will be no one not agreeing with me on this one. But did you know moving more on a daily basis can make you feel a whole lot better. For example taking the stairs instead of the elevator.

4. Keep your family close
Family bonding plays a huge role in your happiness. Staying close to your family –yes even with all the drama going on- makes you feel more relaxed and happy.

5. Help others
Yes, voluntarily helping other makes you feel good about yourself. Giving back to the community makes you feel having a purpose and you actually are building on good karma.

So these are the five rules I vow to pay more attention on. And writing this article I feel I can actually do this! What do you think?

Hi there busy butterflies, you’ll never believe what I found out today… Behind every strong man is astrong woman… But well, who could have thought the opposite is true. Regarding therapist Dr. Sonya Rhodesin a strong man should be with a beta- woman, who’ll not be jealous of his success. And the same goes for the career women.

So if you’re a successful career woman, you actually shouldn’t be searching for your equal but rather for a beta- male, who can understand and support you. Instead of being in a power battle, you’ll be in a healthy relationship. This if we believe Dr. Sonya Rhodesin, and I have to admit I get her point of view.

Of course being an Alpha or Beta sounds like some Twilight wolf-pack, but in real life we daily all have to deal with it. What do you think darlings? Should Alpha be meeting Beta?

Caution: read this before you go partying!

We all know the feeling of waking up and feeling kind of blur (read: hangover) and then you get all these flashback of vodka, martini’s and cocktails in your hand and you realize you had way to much to drink and now you know why your head feels like it’s exploding. Well, if you have to deal with this sensation regularly you probably have your own method of solving the problem. But my angels, for you who don’t know or for those who might get some extra tips:

Step 1:
Get out of bed, I know. But you need to get up to help yourself!

Step 2:
Drink fruit juice, it helps your body to burn the alcohol faster

Step 3:
Drink plenty of acqua (it’s Italian, now it doesn’t mean you’ve to drink Italian bottled water). Just drink enough of water.

Step 4:
You can drink a cup of coffee. It might help getting your headache away

Step 5:
As you might have noticed you’ve a lot of juices to consume, so make sure you visit the lavatory.

Go for the messy bun! At least, that’s what I do. We all have those days our hair isn’t willing to work with us. So what do you do?

 

Stage 1 Denial: you

Just don’t want to accept the bad hair day and try everything in your power to make the coupe you’re going for to work.

Stage 2 Anger:
Now you’re getting upset because the universe is bound to fail everything you try.

Stage 3 Bargaining:
“I’ll try just three more times. If it doesn’t work I’ll think of something else”.

Stage 4 Depression:
“my life is a failure, I can’t walk out of the room like this!”

Stage 5 Acceptance:
“Fine! I’ll try the messy bun I read on www.annaradha.com

I know angels, irony.
