Hi angels, as you might know I love my job! To get the latest accessories, gadgets and outfits to try is just amazing and such a privilege. Last week I received this brand-new smartphone from non other than HEMA. My followers abroad may look a little confused, so let me explain. HEMA is like what WALMART is to America. A national famous brand. Now HEMA has released a new smartphone named H5. With this smartphone HEMA directly competes with the big names like Apple and Samsung.
Now I got the chance to review this new phone and I have to admit I’ve a soft spot for my 24×7 addiction, my darling iPhone 6. But, nonetheless I embraced this opportunity and got my review- face on.
So first of all let’s talk about the hardware. Looking at the H5 it looks like seeing a Samsung Galaxy. Not only do I see the same buttons, but also the frame line and 5 inch HD screen seems the same. When you turn the phone around it suddenly looks like the backside of an iPhone with the remarkable metal look. Note that instead of seeing the world famous Apple icon, you see the HEMA logo. Well, HEMA got some points for appearance. It may be clear that the whole phone industry probably agreed on using the same kind of hardware.
The H5 has a 8 megapixel camera with flash. I was kind of disappointed, I mean like, the camera is probably the most important part of the whole phone! Just imagine taking woozy selfies, the thought alone freaks me out. And I’m an fanatic multitasker, so it’s of vital importance to have this option on a smartphone, unfortunately the H5 doesn’t provide this. Which is too bad.
The smartphone operates on Android 4.2.2, so if you’re an Android fan you’ve got a good one on your hands with this H5. For everything this phone offers the price is a very generous € 159,-
The bottom line, as I see it, is that this smartphone produced by HEMA as an excellent price/performance ratio and isn’t too bad on the eyes either. If you’re looking for a light smartphone, you’ve absolutely got it with the H5. But if you’re used to quality the iPhone 6 or Samsung Galaxy 5 provides you’ll be disappointed in certain areas. Over all a fine phone, for light smartphone uses!
