5 facts you need to accept to find true happiness

5-facts-you-need-to-accept-to-find-true-happiness

Hi angels, lately we’re getting serious don’t we? With all those ‘how to find happiness and how to express your gratitude’ posts…. But well, we have to admit, happiness is important and we have to learn from the bad things in order to grow. So here are five facts you need to accept to find the happiness we all need in our lives.

 1. You cannot know everything

We all need to accept that we cannot know everything, even about something you think you know everything about. Honestly I find it hard sometimes. But you know, there always will be someone who’s smarter, prettier or more talented than you. You need to use this fact to your advantage. Remember that of course people will be better than you, but there also will be a lot of people ‘worse’ than you.

 2. Nothing is forever

Instead of worrying about when something will happen, keep in mind that nothing lasts forever. Boyfriends will dump you, friends will go away and Louboutin will get out of fashion. To say it harsh: shit happens. But because not everyone will always be there, make sure you enjoy as much moments as you can with your loved ones. Don’t take any moment for granted and you’ll feel much happier.

 3. Money matters

Everyone can tell you that money isn’t important. Take this as a wakeup call: it is! Of course you don’t have to be a money orientated person, but there is nothing wrong with earning money to support yourself and your family. So don’t be afraid to say that money actually does matter and nowadays it in fact is a must to survive. Nothing to be ashamed of!

 4. People will not always like you

It may seem important that everyone likes you, but let me tell you… There will be people who don’t like you and actually will hate you no matter what you do. Newsflash: you can’t get along with everyone. Accept this and you’ll get a whole lot happier in life.

 5. Education isn’t everything

Let’s get this one straight: you don’t have to be a Harvard graduate to be successful in your career. Of course education is important, no doubt there. But it takes far more than a degree to have success.

I try to incorporate these five tips in my life and till date it’s working for me. It’s not that you’ve to think about it every day, but just remind yourself once in a while. It will definitely help you!
